Woodcraft
Wood is a beautiful material and is imbued with warmth and character. It absorbs the life around it and encapsulates and sparks nostalgia through the years.
Barns, tables, and decor; projects will be completed to the highest quality no matter the scale. I am inspired by Shaker design for its timeless simplicity and utilitarian beauty. I embrace contrasting that simplicity with organic elements. Upcycling is fantastic way to take something that has outlived its use or design and turn it back into something to be enjoyed for future generations. I also specialize in historical natural finishes; including raw linseed and tung oil, beeswax, and homemade blends.
I love bringing each person's vision to life, with the goal that in some way each piece embodies some part of their personality.

About Me
MY NAME IS Ben
I grew up in a small New England town and was greatly influenced by the confluence of history and landscape. I earned a bachelors degree in Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University. Upon graduation I have worked for and partnered in custom building, barns and old house restoration/conversion companies. Windswept Ltd. is my creative outlet on a micro scale. I use the same techniques in furniture making that I would in heavy timber framing and the eye for quality is the same.
